The quote has always made me stop and observe the people in the world. The acuray to wheat he said made me look further in the lives of serial killers. In a non-strange way I have found a fascination for them. The fact that they are normal people, like me, and they commit such unthinkable sins. But are they really the unthinkable? How close is any human being to committing the same? Murder has caught my eye and I love the mystery and the curiosity it attracts. Although, “curiosity often leads to trouble.” (Lewis Carroll). As I am sure the killers know. My career choice is homicide detective. Because I want to walk closer in the steps to understand these outward expressions of murderers. …show more content…

As I have researched this topic before this project. Sadly, I know one cannot come straight tfrom college and become a detective. I must have several years experience as being a regular cop before moving up in the department. My plan; I am currently enlisted in the National Guard as an intelligence analyst. I leave August 8, 2018 for six months training and when I return I can begin my college at McNeese where I will have tuition exemption. Being in intelligence will help me gain the right experience much swifter. When I am 21 I will be eligible to change my Guard job to criminal investigator. I will have my bachelors within 3 years and can begin my civilian career as a homicide
