Values are important, as they contribute significantly to great leadership skills. Three values that are important to have in leadership roles include the ability to prioritize, having integrity, and being compassionate while leading. The ability to prioritize helps leaders to know how to weight the importance of different task, as well as knowing what can, or cannot be pushed off. Prioritizing reveals the ability to make tough decisions. Having integrity shows that a leader weighs all options before they make a decision. Leaders do not make selfish decisions that only have positive implications for self. They make their decisions for the group, or organization that better serve their best interest. My top strengths make me a good leader because they all aid me in my leadership style. Being strategic is handy when I in the process of reaching a certain goal, regardless of the different barriers that I may be faced with. It helps me think quickly and I am able to redirect myself so that I stay on task. A developer is innovative. I am able to create ideas and plans that others can help me fulfill. It is a leadership trait that requires the backup of loyal followers. I am able to see strengths in others no matter how big or small, and cultivate their potential. A leader that has input is active in leading and does not lead blindly. They are involved with their followers and they are hands on. As a maximizer, I am an advocate for excellence for everyone, firmly believing in only the best. The strength of being deliberative assists me in making tough choices that have the best outcome. I am able to do so because I weigh all obstacles that can potentially occur, negative and positive. I also think about how my options, the effects of my decisions, and how that may affect those around me. Therefore I try to make decisions that will have the least amount of negative impact for
