Personal Leadership Self Assessment

It can be somewhat intimidating when having others survey one’s personal traits and leadership profile. The classifications that were high scoring were surprising, since it is easy to be harsh on oneself. My top three categories, from the chapter ten survey, are conceptual, empowering, and ethical. All three groups seem to be suitable for a leader.
When looking at the two surveys, one can learn a lot about one’s self. When reviewing the questions, I already know that the community grouping was going to be my lowest score. When looking back in my career, I have never done anything productive in my community. In a sense, I have been missing out on the opportunity to strengthen my skills and learn new skills. Understanding how a person manages can give the ability to comprehend one’s leadership style. This would also include developing in areas that are challenging to the individual and informing oneself on how the leadership style can affect one’s followers. In my case, I would want to be more part of my community, for the reason that it would make me be more willing to help a person in need. Plus it would make me feel better on a personal level.
When looking at all the people that have influenced my leadership style, my father has lead me to my success in my career. He is the person that has displayed why a person needs to have morals and standards in everything one is doing. He has profoundly impacted me to take ownership in everything I do. I have been taught by my father that my last name is everything to me; it being reliable, independent, and leadership. He has impacted my life for the best and has enabled my career be fruitful.
When considering all the times my father would sit down and teach me life lessons, he would always show attributes of a leader. The top three attributes that immediately come to my mind about his leadership style would be integrity, courage, and
