In many countries, women are being pursecuted for many different reasons. The people that choose to pursecute women the most are men, most likely because they feel that they are in some way better than women. Women are treated unfairly in everyday life.
There is absolutley no reason for women to be persecuted. Most women are forced into domestic slavery, sexual violence, violence within their family and abused by their spouse. Presecution against women has always been very common, men are seen as the dominate gender therefore they feel the need to treat us as if we are below them. Women could also be pursectued for their race or religion. During the Salem Witch trials women were the ones that were being pursecuted the most. Even when Proctor didn’t need Abigail anymore she still wanted him after he treated her so badly. Sometimes we don’t see what’s good and what’s bad for us. Women are intellegent, we are more mature then men but, sometimes things can get the best of us. In the Crucible, women were getting blamed for being witches, because they were giving attitude in a strange way (mumbling) or they were dancing naked. Just as it was in the Crucible, women who were innocent were pursecuted were hung and we today are still dying as innocent women. Also, we are dramatic and coniving just as Abigail was. Abigail threw a bunch of women under the bus as well as leaving them for dead and fleeing. We are just like Abigail, we all lie, we all gossip and we all do idiotic things that make us human. Some people get away with it and some pay the price. Women are also pursectued by other women, mostly by word of mouth rather than by physical
