It is a beautiful autumn afternoon. Paul Walker enters the outdoor space where Meadow is sitting and reading a magazine.
Meadow Walker: (Looks up at her father and continues to read Us Weekly magazine.) “I'm glad I had her at 25 because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working. It's perfect." I can’t believe you said this about me! (Looks up at Paul and closes magazine).
Paul Walker: Well, it’s true! I am beyond happy that you are now living in Los Angeles with me, especially since we are no longer an ocean apart. I know we missed out on a lot of the activities fathers and daughters do together, but now we have all the time in the world to spend together!
Meadow Walker: (Smiles.) I definitely agree! I was thinking that we could drive to Venice later, and you could teach me how to surf?

The audience is made aware of the extent of the accident and the fate of both Paul and Roger. The crime scene is being cleared and the police officer approaches the woman who witnessed the car crash. The day is now cloudy, gloomy, and windy.
Police Officer: (Steps closer to witness.) Hello ma’am, can I ask you a few questions about what you saw going on here tonight? (Looks down at notebook and prepares to take notes on the accident.)
Witness: (In shock. Is visibly shaken and nervous. Appears tense.) Of course, whatever you need. I can’t believe that it was Paul Walker right in front of me. Being in so many car movies you would never expect his death to be like this.
Police Officer: Alright, so tell me what you saw. (Begins to scribble down notes.)
Witness: Well, I was behind the bright red Porsche and for the longest time it was traveling the speed limit of about forty-five miles per hour, and all of a sudden it began to speed up.
Police Officer: (Makes eye contact with unnamed witness.) At what time did the car begin to speed
