Patrick Dempsey is an american actor and racecar driver who stars in many well-known shows and movies. Dempsey is one of the best male actors because he fills the roles very well and is easy to connect with. He is best known for his role as neurosurgeon Dr. Derek Shepherd in Grey's Anatomy. Patrick Dempsey has come a very long way since his first movie, “Heaven Help Us” and is still making movies and starring in popular tv shows. Patrick Dempsey was born on January 13, 1966, in Lewiston, Maine to Amanda and William Dempsey. His father William was an insurance salesman and his mother was a school clerk, his parents were both originally from Pennsylvania and he has a German and English ancestry. Patrick, who was diagnosed as dyslexic at age 12, studied at Saint Dominic Academy (but dropped out before graduation), Leavitt Area High School and Buckfield Jr. High School. According to Biography.com, Patrick was “Always interested in entertainment, Patrick studied juggling and entered several competitions. Can't Buy Me Love is a drama movie where a nerdy student Ronald Miller (Patrick Dempsey) pays one of the most popular girls in school 1,000 dollars to be his girlfriend.
