Our Lady of Fatima is the title for the Blessed Virgin Mary based on the apparitions the children had experienced in Fatima, Portugal in 1917. The three children were Lucia dos Santos, also known as Sister Lucia of Fatima, and her two cousins Jacinita and Fransciso Marto. During the spring and summer of 1916, the children were out herding sheep near Fatima and they experienced the visitation of an angel three times. The angel revealed himself as “The Angel of Peace” and taught them the spiritual ways of living such as prayer, sacrificing and how to spend time adoring the Lord. The next year, on May 13th, the children claimed to have saw a woman “brighter than the sun, shedding rays of light clearer and stronger than a crystal goblet filled with the most sparking water and pierced by the burning rays of the sun.” The woman told the children to devote themselves to the Holy Trinity and pray the Rosary every day. People are faithful to this theme because bringing peace to world can only happened through the Christ. If could bring all people toward Christ, then we would be able to achieve world peace. Also, if peace is achieved are hearts will be opened and we will come to love one another as brothers. Peace isn’t just the absence of war, it is the reign of Jesus in all individuals in the world. If Jesus can reign over society, then we will be fully recognizing Him as the Diving Being who has the right to command us humans. A Brief History Of The Saint So Important In Mexican Culture” published in 2014, the Virgin Mary is known by many different titles but they all refer to the same Virgin that the Catholics recognize as the Blessed Mother. The Virgin de Guadalupe is mostly known by her first stunning visitation that she first decided to make Catholics know of her existence. The story of her appearance was said to have occurred on December 9, 1513 in the presence of Juan Diego, who was an Indian that happened to be passing on the area where she appeared. At the moment of her existence Juan Diego was told by the Virgin Mary that she wanted a church to be built at a Hill of Tepeyac that was near Mexico City. The Virgin Mary wanted a church to be built in her honor so she used Juan Diego as messenger, so he could go and tell the Archbishop what she was requesting, but since the Archbishop did not believe Juan Diego about the encounter that he had with the Virgin Mary, he asked for a proof. The Archbishop wanted a proof from the Virgin Mary, so he could prove her identity. The Virgin Mary sent Juan Diego to pick up some flowers and once he did so, she placed them in Juan Diego’s cloak and off he went to give the proof to the Archbishop. Our Lady's Message to the world is contained in what has come to be called the 'Secret'. The Secret actually consists of three parts, the first two of which have been revealed. The first part of the Secret was a horrifying vision of hell "where the souls of poor sinners go" and contained an urgent plea from Our Lady for acts of prayer and sacrifice to save souls. The second part of the Secret told of the outbreak of World War II and asked for the Consecration of Russia as a condition of world peace. It also predicted the triumph of Her Immaculate Heart following Russia's consecration and conversion.

St. Francis of Assisi was born in Umbria in the year 1182. He was a child every father hoped for, he was filled with life, a determined and courageous individual. He was gifted with rather good looks, qualities that attracted friends and a gift of leadership. His father was an extremely wealthy merchant in Assisi. But this son, his favourite, was the one who broke Peter Bernardone’s heart. The boy turned on his father, and in a vicious event that eventually resulted into a public scene. St. Francis of Assisi stepped away from his father, his business and left his father in a state of immense emotional suffering.
In the early stages of Catherine's life the surfacing modern age was bringing with it social turmoil which spread throughout Europe (Giordani 3). During Catherine's lifetime, according to Mary Ann Sullivan in her essay “St. Catherine of Siena,” the center of Catholic rule fluctuated between Rome and Avignon and contributed to a schism between popes in Italy and France (1). Catherine was born 23rd in a line of 25 children and, according to Sullivan “even at a young age, [she] sensed the troubled society around her and wanted to help” (1). While her parents were not exceptionally religious, St. Catherine's biographer Blessed Raymond of Capua discusses Catherine's early zeal for Catholic practices: “When she was about five she learned the Hail Mary, and repeated it over and over again as often as she could…she was inspired by heaven to address the Blessed Virgin in this way whenever she went up and down stairs, stopping to kneel on each step as she did so” (24). Her devotion to the Virgin Mary would become especially important in a vision she had around this time while walking with her brother to visit one of her sisters.

The myth behind the La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, originated in 1606. The Virgin appeared one day in the Bay of Nipe near Santiago to two brothers, Rodrigo and Juan de Hoyos, and to Juan Moreno,a black boy roughly ten years of age. They were out on a fishing trip in the Bay. While struggling in their storm tossed boat, they heard a voice declare, "I am the Virgin of Charity." In one hand, the Virgin carried a mulatto baby Jesus; in the other, she held a cross. She also appeared to be holding a tablet which contained the inscription, "I am the Virgin of Charity." A replica of the same tablet is now framed and displayed on the first floor of La Ermita in Santiago de Cuba.
Saint Catherine of Siena is the saint that I have chosen to be my saint. She was very interesting to me, and her story was very intriguing. She is the patron saint of fire prevention, bodily ills, sick people, miscarriages, nurses, and illness. She was canonized in 1461 by Pope Pius II. Her feast day is now celebrated on April 29.
Francis of Assisi lived about eight hundred years ago. He was born in the city of Assisi, Italy, in 1182. He was the son of Piero of Bernadone, who was a wealthy merchant. He received a education and seemed to follow his father's footsteps as a wealthy merchant. In 1201 he took part in an attack on Perugia, was taken hostage, and remained a captive there for a year. After his release, Francis joined the army but couldn't complete his time because he got sick. This period of time would change his life forever. During his sickness, Francis would spend hours meditating on the Lord in an old church, and he felt God drawing near to him. Some people come to Jesus with a memorable experience, but others come to Christ through a process. Francis' conversion wasn't an overnight experience, but it was definitely real.
Saint Francis of Assisi was a uniquely spiritual man who gave up a life of wealth and position to lead a life of poverty in accordance and service to God. Embracing a life according to the Gospels, Francis went on to establish a Monastic Order, known as the Franciscans. In the midst of the political climate within the religious community of Italy, Francis emerged a champion for the poor and sick, with humility and no regard for himself. Francis exhibited his love for God through his love and admiration for all of God's creation including nature. The principles of Saint Francis are as relevant today as they were in thirteenth century Italy; service and love to all of God’s creation.
