Our Changing World

Besides the people who think they’re smart agreeing that evolution is a myth, everyone else in the world knows that everything constantly changes or evolves. Technology and even everyday ways of life are constantly being altered to become more efficient or convenient for evolving lifestyles. This isn't always the ideal way of doing things, but it is how our world works. Our world may seem as if it’s driving itself into chaos, or it may appear as blank canvas to others. To me, I see our changing world as both because both good and bad things are happening in it. Convenient or weird, things in the world are always going to change, and I want to point out some of those things in this essay.
In today’s world, there are innovative technologies popping up all over the place. These new inventions assist everything from people with handicaps to decreasing the world’s CO2 emissions. People are clever, and they are capable of inventing almost anything. People are also more educated with the world around them now. Scientists have more thorough explanations to why things happen, and they can predict future mother nature occurrences. People are capable of figuring out most anything, and more often than not, they do. Even things as basic as hospitals have improved because doctors are so educated now they know exactly which medicine to deliver to patients with certain symptoms. Also, in this day and age, hospitals are the cleanest and most hygienic that they’ve ever been, making everyone feel more comfortable that they won’t get worse if they go into a hospital.
As I mentioned though, the world is not entirely good. There are some negative things that definitely need attention. For starters, there are WAY too many people in the world. Overpopulation is a problem because with more people means more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, more starvation, more death, and more discomfort. The world is only designed for so many people, and people have exceeded that limit. The world also doesn’t shine like a gem because its inhabitants are fat. 65% of the world is overweight and that’s nothing to be proud of. People can’t seem to respect themselves enough to be healthy, and 65% is over half of the world population; that’s sad. People also still see some people as less than them. Even after we’ve dealt with segregation, some people still think they’re better than others and that’s not right.
