Othello’s tragic flaws that lead to his downfall was his over jealousy. In this easy i will be showing you how he was very jealous over Desdemona. He was so worried about Desdemona cheating on him with cassio. He spent most of his time trying to catch her in the act of cheating he lost sight of his duty. Othello was trying to catch Desdemona in the catch he forgot that iago was still mad at him for skipping for the spot he wanted. Iago was playing to put the blame on Cassio because he had emilia grab her handkerchief, to act like she left it with Cassio. “Emilia, staying behind to pick up the handkerchief remembering that her iago, has asked her to steal it at least a hundred times” Iago and Emilia did in act 3 scene 3. Iago then claims he seen Cassio wiping his beard with the handkerchief Othello bout her as the first gift . Iago then tells a story how “him and Cassio was sharing a bed together and how he was saying Desdemona’s name while he was sleep” in act 3 scene 3 . Othello reacted out of hatred, jealousy and “vows to get back at them” Othello said in act 3 scene 3 .
