Organic Food: Hydroponics Vs. Organic Farming

Hydroponics and organic farming, both provide food but there is one difference, one could help you and one could hurt you. Did you know that some of the food you eat doesn't come from the ground? It's true, scientist have come up with a source of farming called hydroponics. Hydroponics consist of water, unnatural sunlight, and unnatural chemicals. The water replaces the soil, the unnatural sunlight replaces the natural sunlight, and the unnatural chemical replaces the nutrients that the soil usually gives off. When eating organically grown food you might start to notice changes in your weight, mood, and even your health. Hydroponics is grown in an unnatural atmosphere with unnatural chemicals and pesticides which my or may not affect your body. Some people have even reported being sick and feeling unusual after eating hydroponically grown food. Depending on the chemicals put in the plants while growing hydroponically, it could be so extreme as to make you sick, give you diseases, and the most extreme, kill you. In my opinion, organically grown food is better for you because Hydroponics uses unnatural chemicals to grow food while organic farming uses all natural resources . Hydroponics are dangerous and unnatural. Hydroponics have been proven to be dangerous in cases so serious leading to death. When eating hydroponically grown food , you are not just consuming food, your consuming chemicals as well. In the making of hydroponics, chemicals and pesticides are used so the seed will grow out of its natural habitat. Growing organic has less of a risk than growing with hydroponics. Hydroponics can help human kinds existence on earth but as of now it is hurting humans. Hydroponics can one day be a very helpful resource but it still needs a lot of work to get to that point. Growing organic has little to no risk and also helps your health and weight. Eating healthy can help you lose weight which will increase your health! Growing organic allows you to know what goes in your body at all times. No chemicals or pesticides go into growing organic which allow you, as the consumer, to know what goes in you body at all time. Hydroponic is a new study that will improve in the future but for now we will just stick to organic. Scientist are still exploring and discovering ways to make hydroponics better and healthier for humans but as of now we should stick to organic food, But it's YOUR
