Going into the field of nutrition science is something that I greatly look forward to accomplishing. I am a strong advocate for eating healthy and believe that a good diet is important to one’s well-being. I am in particular wanting to specialize in helping those who have been diagnosed with either a gluten allergy, gluten sensitivity, or Celiac disease. This would also allow me to reach more people than just those in my area plus it would be a place for my patients to get to interact with one another and realize that they are not alone. I also think it would be fun to open up a gluten free restaurant or work alongside someone starting a gluten free restaurant, giving those in the area a safe place to go and eat and not be concerned about cross contact of foods that they cannot have. The KU Career Services can help me achieve my goals by helping me find jobs that are in my area.
