Elie Wiesel, was once a “young person” coming of age in his century, and throughout that lifetime was an event that will forever be remembered in history, his scars deeply branded onto his mind, person,being.The fearsome World War-Two, that continuously scars the minds of many, and taunts the grieving races presently till this every day. In my opinion, Elie Wiesel wasn't in the wrong to think that at all,in fact I completely agree with his implied statement.Basically what he is trying to express in these one few sentences is that,when anyone is being persecuted for being the people that they are,and it's being put against them even though that is out of their control, It must be the center of everyone's worries at that moment in time;furthermore, the irrelevants of sensitivity. The world is brutal place to live in, it was before and it still is now, the slaughter of millions of people still happen as we fight our own brothers and sisters in the battle field. In fact, you may find many similar cases very often, especially during these present years of the 21st century. For example, within our precious nation is the war of acceptance, and past our barriers is the shed of blood, the war of freedom and a better future etc.. As a young growing american that represents only a fraction that proves our nation’s struggles and history, i fully understand the battles that lie in wait;however, if you add my fraction with the Billions of others. Only when that happens does it show the real meaning behind Wiesel’s words, and it’s that the diversity of us is what makes us different and that difference drives others to fear.
