How To Release Negative Emotions Before They Affect Your Health
It is a proven fact that you have a direct impact of your emotions on your health. For example, if you are suffering from anxiety then you may feel headache and shaky hands. Our childhood experiences and memories are the basis of our emotions. In a study conducted on 17,000 people, it was found that the subjects who faced some kind of disturbed childhood were 50% more prone to the physical ailments like fracture, diabetes and heart diseases. Negative emotions can affect your immunity system and can make you more prone to cough, cold and other minor ailments. In a scientific study, it was proved that chronic stress can reduce our longevity by depleting telomeres, the end caps of our DNA. In another research conducted on atherosclerosis patients by the Duke University Medical Center, it was discovered that the patients who were supported by their friends or spouse has the mortality rate of 50% while the patients who didn’t had any support had just 17% mortality rate.
These studies clearly show that it is harmful to subdue our negative feelings inside it. It can have adverse effects on our body. Sometimes pain and stiffness in the body are caused by certain emotions we are feeling and it can be healed by feeling good. Negative feelings must be expressed and dealt properly to keep our body in a healthy state.

Some people suppress their emotional side by ignoring their feelings, adopting the habit of overeating, drinking alcohol and pretending that nothing has happened. It is very important to identify your negative emotions to get rid of them in the first place.
