Have you thought of all the things NBA players have gone through to get where they are? I choose to talk about the top three players in the NBA. I choose this topic because I pay attention to all the things that make up some of the best basketball players today. I wanted to know more about the players history. Even I don’t know everything about their past.
All NBA player had to start somewhere, so expect to learn the hardships in their early lives. They all played somewhere else before the NBA, so expect to learn where, when, and who drafted them. Also how much money the players earned when they were drafted and how much they earn now. Lebron James was born when his mother was only 16. Gloria James struggled to provide for herself and LeBron. "They had to move seven times a year!" ("Lebron James") "For a couple of years LeBron lived with a foster family." Stephen Curry's childhood was less harsh than LeBron's. Curry's dad was not always with him all the time. Dell Curry was always in a different state every one to two days because he was in the NBA playing games. That didn’t leave to much time for him to teach his son about basketball. Kevin Durant's childhood was a little different. " Durant was always teased for being the tallest in his class" ("Kevin Durant") Later on in life Kevin Durant's AAU coach died at 35 and that's why to this day he wears number 35. Not everything in the biggest NBA stars' lives when right or where easy. But the important thing is that they didn’t give up on their dreams or get discouraged. If they did they wouldn't be where they are
