During World War II, Jews in concentration camps were always experimented on, for torture or research. Many Jews and prisoners have faced many horrific experiences during World War II. Either by being separated from relatives, beaten or killed in concentration camps, or being experimented on. So now here’s a list of worst Nazi experiments. Poisoning prisoners were one of the experiments. In Nazi concentration camps, scientists would experiment on Jews by poisoning them. At the Buchenwald Concentration camp, they would inject poison on prison. One injection was combined with phenol and cyanide. There were still more sicknesses Nazi’s injected on prisoners. Thousands upon thousands of innocent Jews, men, women, and children tortured; over one million people brutally murdered; families ripped apart from the seams, all within Auschwitz, a 40 square kilometer sized concentration camp run by Nazi Germany. Auschwitz is one of the most notorious concentration camps during WWII, where Jews were tortured and killed. Auschwitz was the most extreme concentration camp during World War Two because innumerable amounts of inhumane acts were performed there, over one million people were inexorably massacred, and it was the largest concentration camp of over two thousand across Europe.
The Nazis also gassed Jews in other extermination camps in Poland: Auschwitz. Berkenau (the largest of all camps), Majdanek and Chelmno. At Majdanek, groups of Jews who were considered incapable of doing the work required were gassed. In Chelmno all of the Jews were gassed in.
Auschwitz Medical Experimentation. Over two hundred doctors participated in such research projects and experiments, sentencing between 70,000 and 100,000 people, held against their will, to death through experimentation. These were mostly Jews, but also gypsies, homosexuals and other minorities. They were thought to be inferior to the human race. Such practices became widely accepted and embraced by the Germans, due to the Nazis propaganda.

During the Holocaust, the Nazis carried out many unethical medical experiments on patients without regard for their survival. Prisoners were forced to be subjects in various studies against their will. The Nazis’ victims went through indescribable pain as they were forced through high-altitude, freezing, tuberculosis, sea water, sulfanilamide, poison, and transplant experiments. Through these tragic Holocaust experiments, scientists and doctors discovered treatments used today for high-altitude sickness, hypothermia, contagious diseases, dehydration, poisoning, and war wounds.

The holocaust was a horrific period of time where unbelievable criminal acts were carried out against the Jews, Gypsies, and other racial gatherings. These defenseless individuals were sent from unsanitary ghettos to death camps, one being Auschwitz. The Auschwitz death camp comprised of three camps, all in which are placed in Poland. Numerous forms of extermination came about overtime to speed up the killing process. Life at the death camps was cut short for those who weren’t fit to work; such as the elderly, women, the mentally disabled, and young children. The others were put work while being starved to death. Experiments were held on dwarfs, twins, and other misfits were carried out by Josef Mengele. These inhuman acts against the Jews were all held in secret from society by the Nazis until liberation day.

The Nazis performed some of the most horrific experiments of anyone. The Auschwitz under the direction of Dr. Eduard wirths had inmates selected to certain experiments which were designed to help the Germans. Animal testing is a controversial topic with two main sides of the argument. The side apposing animal testing states it is unethical and inhumane; that animals have a right to choose where and how they live instead of being subjected to experiments. The view is that all living organism have a right of freedom; it is a right, not a privilege. Although this is one of the first major oppositions to animal testing, animal testing was being practiced for millennia beforehand. There are two sides apposing each other in the argument of animal testing, and the argument is one of the oldest arguments still being debated today.
The records show the events from numerous camps and experiments. In Auschwitz, Jews were sent there by freight cars in the evening(Auschwitz). They were evaluated by doctors and separated by the ones able to work and the unfit, The Jews in healthy enough conditions to work were sent to special camps to begin working. The unfit Jews were sent to cellars in one large house. The cellars were lined with benches on both sides of the area. The Jewish prisoners had been told they needed to be cleansed before going to work, but in reality they were being sent to their death. Once all prisoners were sitting on the benches the were told to take off their clothes and fold them neatly to make sure there was no panic. They were then sent into a large area that looked like a shower bath but there were three pillars in the area that released substances to kill the prisoners. Once the prisoners were dead their hair was cut off and their teeth were extracted, then the corpses were taken to the crematoriums to be turned to ash(Auschwitz). This experiment was used to measure the time it took to lower the body temperature to death and how to most successfully resuscitate the dead victim back to life.
