I needed to go to the store so bad that I called my friend to see if I could borrow her car and we could have dinner. It was a rainy fall night and I could barely see out of the window. It was about a week ago when I was in the accident and my friend still haven’t forgiven me. As I was leaving a local grocery store, backing the vehicle very slowly and carefully out of the very small parking lot. My car is facing south and I looked both ways just to make sure it was clear. The rain was coming down so hard that I barely could see. As I check all my mirrors I see that a vehicle waiting for my parking spot. As I began to back up, I see the driver give me a signal that everything is clear. So I continue to back up out of the parking spot. Suddenly, …show more content…
I’m fine however, it was Hanna car that was involved. She was mad and she let me have, but everything is fine. I went to the grocery store and I was backing out of this small tiny space and a car ran right in the back of me. You would have thought it was Kool how the air bags came out. I know you like stuff like that. You should have seen me I was a nervous wreck. I wish you were here with me. You would have made me laugh and reassured me that everything was going to be ok. It was cool seeing the people in the SUV scared because they knew that messed up. They even tried to lie and say that it was all my fought. Mind you it was someone who was waiting for my spot that witnessed the whole thing. It wasn’t too much damage to the car just some scratches and a couple of dents. I know she will never let me use the care ever again. I only went to the grocery store which was only 15 mins away. I’m home now and I just wanted to tell you the exciting day I had. I was shocked you know I never been in a car accident before. It could have been much worse. Can you imagine if I had to go to the hospital? Hanna however, told the insurance company that she was driving so the her premium wouldn’t rise. I was nervous for her, but nothing happened and everything was fine. The police were respectful; you know I always get nervous around cops for some reason. Do you remember when we got pulled over for speeding and I nearly fell out in panic? You calmed me down and told me everything was going to be ok. And we lied and said we were rushing to get to my sister because she is having a

My Dad wanted to take us parasailing, and my sister and Carrie (my new step mom) wanted to go shopping. We decided to wait for a boat to pick us up in the afternoon for parasailing, and before that we would go shopping. So we went shopping until we got hungry for some lunch. Me and Tori just wanted to get fast food because we didn’t want to be late for parasailing. My dad decided to just take us to Hardee’s, but it would take us awhile to get there because we had to go to the one closest to the boat, which was about an hour away. I love long car rides, so this was the time for rolling down my window and listening to my music on my
One day, I was on a camping trip with my family. When we got there, I thought everything was going to go well, like I thought. However, after a few hours, around dinnertime, I noticed the sky became cloudy, with barely any visibility. I thought that it would start raining soon, and my prediction was correct. It was pouring heavily, so many people began packing up. Later, thunder and lightning came in, so we were instructed to leave immediately. We packed up and left the campsite. After leaving, I also found out that it was going to rain throughout the entire week, so it was a good idea to leave.
When I finally found my words I asked what was going on and my mother told me that my sister was in a car accident. When we arrived at the scene all I could see was my sister’s car sideways in the middle of the road with the entire front of it smashed up towards the windshield. As I looked around I saw my sister, emerging from a tan SUV I had never seen before, running towards my parents. The ambulances began to arrive and I was in my sister’s arms when I realized that there was no other damaged car at the
As I was driving down the road I saw red, and blue lights going off behind me, so I turn on my turn single and turned to the side of the street and parked my car. I saw the police officer getting out of his car and started to walks towards me, my hands were getting all sweaty and clammy, my stomach was in complete knots and I couldn’t figure out if I was going to vomit, or just pass out. I heard a knock on my window, and I rolled it down.
For most people, becoming a parent is one of the greatest moments in their lives. I never understood the true meaning of love until I became a father. Little did I know; I would also learn the tragedy of loss.
It was Tuesday and the day was draining away. I wanted to go buy new hair dye, but I knew it was too late. Careless, I got money from my piggy bank and asked my little sister Natalie to come along. I usually go out by myself but I decided to take her to feel more safe. Since my parents were not home yet I had to make this trip quick, so we took the bus.
With music blasting, voices singing and talking, it was another typical ride to school with my sister. Because of our belated departure, I went fast, too fast. We started down the first road to our destination. This road is about three miles long and filled with little hills. As we broke the top of one of the small, blind hills in the middle of the right lane was a dead deer. Without any thought, purely by instinct I pulled the wheel of the car to the left and back over to the right. No big deal but I was going fast. The car swerved back to the left, to the right, to the left. Each time I could feel the car scratching the earth with its side. My body jolted with the sporadic movements of the car. The car swerved to the right for the last time. With my eyes sealed tight, I could feel my body float off the seat of the car.
Throughout life things will scare us but most of the time they won’t change anything about how we go on with our day. Sometimes there is that one time that changes the way we It was almost a year ago now that I had close call with my life while driving. I have had my license for almost four years.
Driving as a Teenager Gaining the experience and actually learning to drive behind a vehicle, big or small. After practice most people get the hang of it. At first everybody thinks driving is a piece of cake but it actually takes patience and coordination of using only one foot and also using the wheel at the same time and other controls of the vehicle. I got this idea I was ready at 15 and I was ready to learn with or without supervision.
“STOP! STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW!” my driving instructor yelled as the tires screeched. My foot instantaneously rose from the right pedal to and pushed down the left pedal. My heart was beating rapidly.
It was the night before my driver’s test, and with each passing hour I felt the anxiety creep into my veins. Vying for first place with high school graduation and prom night, receiving a driver’s license is one of the biggest milestones in a teenager’s life. A driver’s license means midnight runs to Sheetz, road trips to the beach, and rides to the mall without your mom blowing kisses from the car as you walk sheepishly towards your friends. What more could a teenager want than these perks? Of course, I was hyper-aware of all that was at stake in regards to my driver’s test. Thus, the night before the exam, I intensively studied my driver’s manual and watched YouTube videos that offered helpful driving pointers. I even dragged my mother along for one more practice run on the road.
I lived with my father for my entire life, but due to his work I did not spend much time with him. My father worked at a different city; and thus he comes home only a few times a month. My father is a mechanic. He works at a company that is distant from our home. This was due to the company being the only one and the first where cars were being assembled in Ethiopia. Sometimes on the weekends I used to go to his work place. He would give me a trip of the place; the station was filled with vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles. It was separated by sections. In each section there were only one type of vehicle and the assembly process was shown step by step. From a fuse to large engine of the car, components were getting attached.
Last year I got involved in a massive car accident. It was the most terrified part of life. It was the moment. I will never forget in my whole life. Before, I never realized how people really feel when a car accident happens. But,after this car accident I know what really it felt like. It was the moment. My mind was totally feared of driving. I was crushed by the hot metal and cold dirt of car. I was not feeling my arm,my body was numbed. It was felt like my lower body pressed down with monster force. All I could feel was the noise of car accident ringing in my ear.I was barely able to move my body. I was kept thinking. What my parents going to think about this? Where is my friend John? I looked through the window and saw the cars passing by
My eyes were deteriorating fast since I started using Tumblr. Driving to school past the park I came to terms it was autumn my favourite season: Trees almost naked with every branch bare, hearing the sound of rustling when people stomping through a crowd of crunchy leaves, though when the wind breathes it accelerates a leafy tornado swirling in a circular motion, smelling a fresh batch of rain from minutes ago and seeing the glistening as the biggest star made I admired. I use to walk to school every morning before my mum left us. Dropping Kaylee off at school I took a right turn where Jessica insisted to meet by the cascade fountain. I parked and by squinting my eyes I could already see she was dressed impressively kooky today. A jacket duplicating the print of a burgundy floral couch, vintage purple satin blouse with J’s scattered all over in different colours, an eagle bolo tie, the stripy snazzy saffron skirt, suede slip on shoes and to compliment her rouge knitting glasses someone had gifted. She ran to me.
