Introduction The term narcissism originates from the ancient Greek myth of Narcissus, a handsome young man who fell in love with his own reflection believing that he was much better than others and nobody is worthy of his love. However, he stares into a pool of water discovering the only love he so adores. This person is himself. Eventually, he is becoming thinner and thinner in front of the pool and turns into flower after his death. Nowadays, narcissism is considered as both normal personality characteristic and metal personality disorder in which people have a high degree of self-importance, a deep need for admiration and a low level of agreeableness and empathy of others. First, Narcissists are characterized by excessively positive self-concept and self-importance. They do believe that themselves are unique(Emmons,R.A,1984).Even much smarter and more attractive than others(Campbell, W.K.and Foster, C.A,2002).In addition, Narcissists are desire to obtain admiration from others which fulfil their vanity. So they become exceedingly concerned with getting positive feedback and admiration from others. If someone denies them, they will react extreme negative emotions and feelings which energetically request others to importune or compel admiration from them. Because they generally pay attention to superiority rather than acceptance. Moreover, Elsa (2005)pointed out that the narcissist self-concept is grandiose and inflated, but is also unstable due to the narcissistic individuals’ hyper emotions , unstable and variable sense of self-worth and self-importance, which is highly depends on how they are observed in the moment. Narcissists are tend to see themselves more positive than they are seen by others. They are 20% of the variance in self-perception bias due to the individual differences in narcissism, compared with the 1% in term of self-enhancement effect.In addition, narcissists tend to derogate others to enhance the self which ensures their esteem. It is worth noting that narcissists and more likely to be emergent leadership because they do enjoy using right to dominate others which maintain their self-esteem and enhance their self-regular. Raskin and Novacek (1991)researched that narcissists are eager to dominate power and status. Obviously, narcissists are not excellent leadership, because they are not good at dealing relationships with others. They often respond with hostility when they have different opinion with others or they feel threatened by others.
