1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Definition and Description:

Rugby league is a contract sport and it takes a team to play this sport and there is a lot of running tackling. It’s form of player in a team a thirteen. The goal of the sport is to try a get threw the opposite teams defence to score a try at the other end of the rugby field and don’t let the other team threw your defence and to try and slow the play down so your team can get back on side and you have to be back 10 metre every set when your on defence but when you attacking you can stand where ever you want just not in front of the ball play you always have to be behind the person with the ball if not its called a ford pass which isn’t aloud so you will have to hand the ball over to the other team. One try is worth 6 point’s and a conversion ( kick the ball threw the goal post) is worth 2 point’s. The game goes for 80 minutes 40 minutes each half or some times when it hot we have a bit more breaks so we don’t get heat stress so we play 20 minute for 4 set. Rugby league is played all in Australia and new Zealand and in England but they call it super league in England.
