Throughout life, some people ask themselves two questions: what do they intend to do with their lives and what type of impact they would like to make. I believe that my purpose in life is to help improve the lives of other people through any means. Over the years, I have realized that I enjoy helping others. In today's world, millions of people suffer from disease, hunger, and poverty or live in substandard conditions. I think that, through hard work and volunteerism, everyone can make a difference in the lives of others. Whether the problem is minute or almost impossible, I will attempt to assist anyone. I hope that I can accomplish great achievements throughout my life. I want to be a medical doctor, so I can help people in developing countries who cannot afford or have access to health care . I also want to be accepted into the Peace Corps, a volunteer program created by the U.S. government to tackle the most pressing needs of people around the world. …show more content…

I chose these values because they describe the life that I want to live in the future. I want to be independent from my parents and be successful. I want to be open-minded, continue my education, and go on amazing adventures to exotic places. Many things are important to me. My family is important to me because they support me in all of my activities, school work, and challenges. My education is important because I love learning about new things that expand my point of view. Education is also important because it will help me advance to higher positions later in life. Another topic that I view as important is global issues and current events. I try to keep up with news as much as possible.
