My Goals For College And Short-Term Goals

I believe every person has their own goals they want to accomplish in life. For example, some goals people would like to achieve are becoming successful, receive a good education, graduate or go to college, and have a long life. Everyone has long-term goals, mid-term goals, and short-term goals. But short term goals are easier to finish than long-term goals. I myself have ambitions that I hope to accomplish. I specifically have four goals I would like to achieve in the near future.

The first goal I want to accomplish is getting a 4.0 GPA for high school. In order to accomplish this goal, I need to focus on my studies by studying for at least an hour to an hour and a half. I will also ask for extra-credit from my teachers, participate

In order for me to complete this ambition, I will need to study and complete all the A-G requirements. I will be in the honor roll and get recommendations from my teachers or counselors. I will try to take AP classes and ace the SAT/ ACT’s. As a kid from a low income family, I hope to receive a full on scholarship to a UC or a college. Even though I’m still not halfway to my future college dream, I have taken some few steps that are getting me closer to this goal. I am taking honors classes and being in AVID helps me learn more about opportunities to be accepted in better colleges. In 8th grade, I joined the Sustainability Showcase, or also known as P-21 and my group won 3rd place. My group and also spoke at the Richard Nixon

For now I am still clueless on what I want study in the future. Even though I still have at least two years to decide on what I study in college, I am still searching for multiple careers I want. My goal is to take a subject that is related to the science field. In my opinion, science has always been so interesting for me. It amazes me how science is all around us, and is related to everything that is on Earth. In able to achieve this goal, I will need to look for college options that carry the minor or major that I’m interested in taking. But before I decide on what minor or major I want to take, I will need to choose a career that fulfils my satisfaction. I will also need to take all science related classes that cover my subject. To accomplish this goal, I have taken a few, small steps to get closer to finishing this goal. I am researching careers I would like to take in the future. I will be also taking science
