My Favorite Memories Of Baseball

Throughout my entire life I have made a collection of many fond memories. Of those fond memories one in particular sticks out, my senior year during baseball season. I have played baseball since I was six years old and my senior season was by far the best of them. Memories were not only made on the field but also off of it, making us not only teammates but brothers. The memories I made with that team will forever be implanted into my mind and something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
My senior baseball season wouldn’t have been the same if it wasn’t for the kids I had around me. All of my closest friends were on the baseball team which makes it easy to see why it was my favorite season. Win or lose we were the most tight knit group of guys you could come across. Being a senior, we had to drive the underclassmen to practice and on these drives were nothing but laughs. I had to drive James and Danny every single day, and the two of those kids together were nothing less than hysterical. Danny was a tall, lanky kid who was very nice and polite. James on the other hand was a short, stocky, loud, and a complete slob. I was always two seconds away from leaving him, but without fail he would come running out of the school with no shoes on, a loosened tie, and an unbutton shirt. No matter what the circumstances, James always had a very interesting, to say the least, way of explaining why he was late. It was anything from I fell down the stairs to my teacher wouldn’t let me leave because she was having a mental breakdown. One memory in particular was when James was talking about getting a McFlurry all day, we finally got him one and then when we showed up to the field he dropped it and spilled it all over. It was just the little things that makes me appreciate every single second of that
