While watching and observing Ms. Williams class I observed but wasn’t sure if she was doing a lesson or what activity she was doing. But what I do think is that she was going over words in a book that was on the children’s desk. In the classroom the children where well behaved, listening to the teacher, on task and making choices to when Ms. Williams would ask them questions. During the video the teacher Ms. Williams led the discussion with the children by asking the children questions of what a word means. She would also give the children clues to finding out the answer when she wanted them to give her more to their answer and for other children to think as well. And when the children would give a good answer she would tell them good job,
Composing a story is not just about writing down ideas and events. The true art of writing is an intricate and timely process. Convincing the reader of your beliefs and opinions goes beyond actual facts and data. In the 1600's a man named Roberto de Nobili recognized this situation and discovered the rhetorical triangle, which is still commonly used today (Faigley 5).. What is it like to live a life with Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)? Narcissism is a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. People with this disorder can be vindictive, selfish, cunning person. They do not care who is harmed or hurt. Abigail was the leader of all of the girls that were seen dancing and calling on evil spirits. Abigail would threaten the girls by saying if they said anything, she would kill or harm them severely. She wanted what she couldn’t have, so that made her psychologically unstable. Abigail William’s would be convicted in today’s court because she gave many threats to kill the girls who were with her the night they were dancing if they spoke up in court, her behavior caused harm to many even though she may not have physically done damage herself and due to previous court cases, some people diagnosed with Narcissism were found innocent due to their mental instability but others were guilty because they were mentally unstable. As it is shown, Narcissistic Personality Disorder causes her to be selfish, arrogant, dangerous, and obsess over the man she could not have, because Abigail threatened the girls she was with the night they were dancing, to not confess to anything in court.

This video is about different direct instructional approaches when teaching children. Specifically teaching children to read. For example, in one approach children read aloud with the class and individually with the teacher. When the children are reading with the teacher they read a set paragraph and time it, and see how many errors they have, and each time they read the paragraph they try and improve and do better than the last time. The children don 't seem to worry about other children 's errors, they focus on improving themselves. In another approach the children listen to the teacher 's signals and say and spell the words she is instructing them to say as a group.

S., has her students turn and talk about a question to see what kind of answers the students have to say to each other. This is a good way for the students to see what their classmates have to say and a good way for them to interact with each other. S., also uses frame words and the students have to write a sentence about the word that is in the frame. She will also have her students write about a word or topic in their notebook using, words, pictures, and sentences. For the English Language Learners in Miss. At the beginning of the lesson he was informing the kids, and he asked them if they were understanding it. He demonstrated at the end of the informing task exactly what they were to do. He then would ask the kids to go back to their mats and practice while he observed (extended task) them. After observing he went over to individual kids if they needed help or if the entire class needed help he would stop the class and refine the skills that the kids were having trouble with and went over the cues to remind the kids what they needed to do. Then he would have the children continue to practice (application task). He would then go back to rotating the class room to help the children, and encouraged them when they were demonstrating things
There are varying degrees of the impact a lesson can have on a child. Some lessons are taught easily using a textbook in a classroom, while other lessons are taught utilizing real world examples. Rather than learning valuable life lessons in the classroom, the children in Toni Cade Bambara's "The Lesson" learn the harsh economic inequality of their society. Lead by Miss Moore, the children are shown how they are personally affected by the economic inequality. Using the "show don't tell" teaching method, the naivety the children had diminishes, and the narrator explains the progress by illustrating how the children are affcted by the lesson.
In conclusion, Mrs. Doe displayed how she uses classroom management and reciprocal teaching as well as group activities to allow children to learn from each other and become models for each other that Vygotsky believed was important for learning. Structure is important to her, but she is also able to keep it fun as well. She said “you joke, laugh, talk, read and do the math.” But more than that, her passion keeps her motivated and her sense of self-efficacy is obvious to me and her students will see it too.
