CHAPTER 2 LITERATURE REVIEW 2.1 Introduction Based on the case study that is two-dimension single-camera based motion analysis as team sports strategic tool, the literature review divided into four main topics. First topics are about the human body motion analysis. In this topics will be explained deeply on the human motion analysis which referring the biomechanics of human body. Biomechanics of human body divided into three sub-topics, which are kinetics for analysing human motion, kinematics for analysing human motion and dynamics for analysing human motion. Mechanical work is the product of force and the distance through which the force acts. Mechanical power is the mechanical work done over a time interval. Mechanical energy has two major forms; kinetics and potential. When gravity is the only acting external force the sum of the kinetics and potential energies possessed by a given body remain constant.
