Many people suffer from mental disorders that affect the lives of the person with the disorder and the people around them. An example of someone who suffered from mental disorder is Joan Crawford. In the movie Mommy Dearest, it shows us what life was like to live in the Crawford household while raising her daughter, Christina, and son, Christopher. In the movie, it shows us four mental disorders that Joan Crawford suffered from. These disorders are bipolar disorder, histrionic personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.
