The economy in America is slowly starting to fall apart, with some experts estimating an economic crash in the coming century. There are many reasons for the current economic decline in the United States; however, the most prominent reason would be the advancement businesses have taken to modernize America’s shopping. The modernization of America’s shopping has taken a toll on the economy because of the cutting of jobs affecting the livelihoods of many Americans, putting local stores out of business affecting local economies, and depending on overseas production creating a higher deficit and the likelihood of higher taxes. Countries such as China, Canada, and Mexico are the biggest sources of products sold online in the United States. Businesses find it much cheaper to produce the same products they would produce in the United States in other countries. Businesses are beginning to move to these countries because they deal with less regulation and are able to pay workers less than legally allowed in the United States. Sequentially, the United States’ line of production gets cut severely from businesses exploiting the alternative countries to produce products. As the United States’ production drops and imports increase America’s debt begins to rise as well. With the joblessness caused by modernization, how can Americans build up the capital to pay back this debt? In the near future, Americans will need to start paying back the currently expanding deficit, which would most certainly result in government action through forced taxes. These taxes will not only annoy some Americans, it can cripple others. Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck will now have to find another way to cut corners. Overall, America needs to cut back on the dependence of overseas production and start producing
