Technology has had a huge impact on modern day society. So many things we take for granted and do not even seem to notice. Now, a day is a miracle that has only served to improve our world as a whole. Air travel, modern medicine, global communication, and agricultural technology are just a few things that have had huge everlasting effects on humans. Have you flown on a plane lately? If you have, have you thought about what you are doing when you get on a commercial airliner? You are sitting inside a giant metal cylinder with wings that uses a loophole in gravity to carry you miles in the air at amazing speeds to travel anywhere on the planet in hardly anytime at all. Its incredible right? Aircrafts have revolutionized war, trading, travel, and surveillance. They allow us to do something we once thought was impossible, and was just a hopeless dream that would be left to birds and fairytales.

If anything deserves a mention it is definitely medicine. Without medicine, I probably would be struggling or probably not even alive. It used to be the simplest thing like germs that could have someone bed ridden or even killed. Now you can just go to the store and pick up something that will clear the sickness up in no time. Pain medication, antibiotics, blood transfusions, surgeries, and organ transplants are just amazing! Every day we are having someone have one or many of these things done. Without these little things that I have spoken about, the world would be losing many people each hour. The everyday act of bathing is something that prevents so many health risks and we do not even realize it. There are so many forms of medicine and medical practices that allow us to live comfortably and continue to extend our life expectancy.
