Some people may already be mindless zombie to technologies. Their whole life has been shaped by it. Without the help of Siri or Google, how would they communicate with their friends and families, text and drive or search for the latest yelp reviews of nearby restaurants. Technology has changed the way humanity interacts with each other, in person and online communication. Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc. These are a few outlets that technologies are zombifying humanity with. It is the norm to use modern technology to accomplish specific tasks or interests. Imagine a real estate agent doing business without access to the most current information relating to the housing market. He or she is usually traveling from places to places thus requires a reliable smartphone to keep in contact with all his or her clients on top of managing their email traffics to stay vigilant with the latest news to best surpass their competitions. No longer are all students restricted to attending classes physically but an option to attend classes by opting into online classes. Using their laptops or home computer desktops they can log into their classes and complete their work assignments in a timely manner. It becomes a significant role in improving education efficiency. The students are using the technology at their disposal to achieve educational means. It is a powerful tool to access tons of resources that the school has to offer to students. NAU Online library is a great example of how the college campus manage their sources so that the students are well prepared to tackle the tasked assignments.
In entertainment, technology is utilized to inspire and bring enjoyment to the people. The producers use advanced software to manipulate the visual aspects of the created fantasy world and characters, breathing life to the stories being told on the big screen.
