Rough Draft This year Milinda just started high school. She is at a bad start, she has no friends and no one to talk to. At a party before school started, Milinda and her ex-best friend got drunk, Milinda went outside and walk to a tree. Then along came a person named Andy Evens. He walked up to her and told her that she was pretty and how no one was with her. Then he made his move, he put Milinda on the ground and started kissing her. Milinda tried to stop him but she couldn’t make a sound. Soon after all this happened Andy leaves and Milinda realizes that she was just sexually assaulted. So Milinda calls the police but doesn’t speak, the cops are on their way. When the police show up the party is shut down and everyone runs away. When Rachel finds out that Milinda called the cops she got mad and didn’t want to be her friend anymore. Milinda is now all alone. She chooses not to talk to anyone because when she was assaulted it made her feel dirty. Milinda meets a girl named Heither. Heither and Milinda became friends for a while, until Heither realized that Milinda was a quiet nerdy type girl that had no Friends and was keeping her from getting into a group that she wanted to get in. Milinda now is at the bottom of the tank once again. Milinda doesn’t sleep in her bed like a normal person, ever since the party she has been sleeping in her closet. She sleeps in her closet because it is the only place that she feels safe. Milinda is working on her art project at school but, she is having a little trouble with it the art teacher, Mr. Freeman, gives her some advice like you need to make it more lively and colorful. Milinda didn’t really know how to do that, probably because she was scared and depressed so her tree looked like that
