Michelangelo Do you know who the greatest artist was during the renaissance? Well, a ninja turtle was named after him. He painted the “Sistine Chapel Ceiling” in 1512. If you didn't guess already it was Michelangelo. Michelangelo was a painter, sculptor, and an architect. When he sculpted he told people. “ Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”. So the question is, will you vote for Michelangelo as the most influential worldview champion.

Michelangelo was one of the greatest artists during the Renaissance. Leonardo da Vinci although had more talents but, the renaissance was more focused on art which Michelangelo exceeded at. Michelangelo's first painting was “St. Proclus which was the painting that made him famous and the painting that had him noticed by others. That was his first painting not his most famous one. One of his most famous painting was the “The Last Judgement” which is located in Sistine Chapel. In Sistine chapel, he also painted the Sistine chapel ceiling which was one of his more recognized pieces of art. This piece of art was created at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. His architecture was inspiring people to do it. His first ever building he designed was St. Peter's Basilica which is a beautiful church in Rome. He had designed more than 6 structures. But the most famous one, that everyone should know is the Laurentian library which has more than 11,000 manuscripts and more than 4,500 early printed books which store a lot of information the history of their religion.
