To Our Meramec Parents, As I reflect on how quickly we have moved through our last days of school, I do so reminiscent of how fast the past six years have flown by! It is with pleasure that I take this opportunity to write you and thank you, for your support in what has proven to be another busy, and successful school year. Thank you to all for your partnership, and sharing the gift of your hopes, dreams and aspirations, cleverly disguised as children! We close the year having completed a cycle of learning, focused on both academic and social-emotional learning, having honored the high expectations that serve as the cornerstone of Meramec being a great place to learn, a great place to teach, and a great place to be! Personally, I consider myself fortunate to have the privilege of serving as the principal of such a wonderful, child-centered school for six years, making today's 5th Grade Promotion bittersweet, having had the chance to follow a class through their entire elementary experience! I have met the goals outlined because of my continuous diligence and exceptional performance throughout the year. I have, in my humble opinion, exceeded the substantial qualifications for teaching, service and research as set forth by my Faculty Assignment Document. I am pleased to be part of the West Virginia University Extension Service and was honored to receive the 2013 WVSE4-HA and NAE4-HA North East awards for Urban Programming for an individual. As 2013 comes to a close, I am proud of my excellent accomplishments and quality contributions to 4-H and look forward to creating additional programming for youth in West Virginia.
Good evening. Some of you out there may not realize this but those of you who attended Suntime Middle School have been with this guy for the last seven years. I would like to ask you all, not just Suntime Middle School grads and who all else, to join me in thanking Mr. Weather for his patience and dedication to the success of our education over the years. We are the Class of 2000. The first graduating class of the new millennium. The past four years have been pretty wild. We started out as a bunch of rats in a small cage, but as time went by we learned and matured and became big rats in a new small cage, but in any case, the cage door is now opening; the handlers turning us wild things loose. As we leave "Where the Wild Things Are," home to some of the best cat fights, fist fights and food fights this side of the Cascades, I have a little surprise for all of you sitting in front of me here tonight in your caps and gowns … we ain’t seen nothing yet!
I hope that you can see my education and future are advancing as we speak. This doesn’t mean I haven’t had a few bumps in the road, because I have. Actually, some of the bumps have unfortunately been financial aid. But, I am growing. It is a day to day continual experience of growth and it’s exciting for me to see where it takes me. Again, thank you for this opportunity and all the work you do as an organization.

Today, as we graduate, with degree nearly in hand, I challenge each of you to make a difference in whatever you do. Remember that life didn't end when we re-entered school. Life continued throughout our program. Even when stretched to the limit, life only got more challenging. And now, graduating, life only changes pace. Our degree completion is not really an ending as much as a new beginning as we re-enter our lives of work and home. We thank all of our family, friends, instructors and co-workers who helped see us through this process. Thank you for this opportunity and good luck to you all.
Family, friends, and educators, I would like to thank you all for your support in coming out today to commemorate the Hoover High School Class of 2015 commencement. However, your support today is not where the extent of our gratitude lies, it lies within each and every single day of hard work and motivation that you all put in for my classmates and for myself to be successful. You are the reason that we are able to walk across this stage, and I think it goes without saying that each and every one of them deserve a standing ovation.
“The future stretches before me, waiting for me to create the work of art that will become my life.” We have entered an age for celebration, an era to memorialize who we were, who we are and who we will eventually become. Celebrate this milestone greater than all the others, for it is the time we have spent here in our high school careers that will always be held close to heart.
What followed was the veritable obstacle course of bureaucratic red tape. My mailbox was almost bursting with forms, applications, packets, and all manner of reading to delve through before the start of classes. How silly could I have been to think that I was finally done with summer reading? After much deliberation (and some help from my parents), I had applied for housing, found my roommates, and registered for orientation.
Now I would like to take the time to thank everyone who has helped me get this far. First of all, thank you to all the teachers. None of us would be here without you always pushing our academic abilities to the fullest. Jessica Parker a.k.a. my partner in crime as Mr. Tri would refer to us. You made everyday coming to school worthwhile. Hillary Laswell, who would leave third period to go steal flowers from horticulture and give them to Mrs. Granillo with me. My brother Jeramie who always said, "If anyone is mean to you, I'll take care of it." My Mom, thank you for always believing in me and putting up with me when I was a real jerk.
Today completes the chapter of our lives that we have been comfortable with for the past 13 years. High school may be over, but we still have a long exciting way to go in life. From our four-year experience we will take with us the memories, good and bad, and relationships we have made with each other and the County High School staff. From these experiences we have learned and grown and will continue to do so. Growing up and moving on will be a huge part of our lives in the next few months. The decisions we will make come in-part from the choices we have already made.
Today is the second session that I had counselor with this particle client. He came in to see me for the same problem that he had before. But except this time client had be doing a little than before. Before I started with the interview I had use the five stages and dimension of the interviews a client. I want to have an empathic relationship with my client, and gathering story and find the strength of my client is part of getting to know my client. This time I had set a realistic goal that my client can work toward without feeling that he is not in control of making the decision. The next is stage restoring finding what is not working now and trying to find an alternative that will work then take the action of letting the client go or
But most of all I want to thank all of the Career and Technical Education students that are here to welcome the new Administration and yet again show their abilities, readiness and desire to be responsible leaders in the career path they have chosen. How about a round of applause to all of these hard working guys and gals who are the future of our country. “Applause” We are here today because we have faith in in you! We’re here because we want to make sure that you get all the skills and education you need to reach your dreams and desires. We’re here because we know your dreams are so big and astonishing and also realize that you need all the support you can get! We’re here because we know one of the best ways is through career and technical education also known as CTE. Thanks again, for letting me and your new school board be part of your dream! “Applause”
For the past 13 years of our education we have been on a journey - a journey full of experiences, challenges and accomplishments. We have made it through elementary, middle and high school. It hasn't always been what we expected and certainly not easy, but as we progressed down the road, we stretched ourselves to reach across barriers and found ourselves in new and expanding roles. We were given the opportunity to explore our interests and discover what really excites us. We have become more independent and complete individuals. Our growth and self-discovery has placed us here tonight.
Good afternoon everyone. Friends, family, staff members, honored guests and fellow graduates. On behalf of the Grad Class of 2016, we were selected by our class to give some parting words. Today is our day. After thirteen years of knowing only these walls around us, our time here has come to an end. We are officially stepping forward into our futures. No longer united on one path, as we are now branching off on our own, taking our own paths.
Let me begin by saying that I am very honored to be addressing the County High School Class of 2012 as students of this institution for the last time. We've spent these last four years creating some serious memories: four years of chieftain power, leaking roofs, questionable Homecoming skits, and musical principals. Four years of good teachers, bad teachers, new teachers, old teachers. Four years of youth, music, growing up and breaking free. Four rubber chickens, four yearbooks, four ASB presidents and four chubby bunnies.
