To Our Meramec Parents, As I reflect on how quickly we have moved through our last days of school, I do so reminiscent of how fast the past six years have flown by! It is with pleasure that I take this opportunity to write you and thank you, for your support in what has proven to be another busy, and successful school year. Thank you to all for your partnership, and sharing the gift of your hopes, dreams and aspirations, cleverly disguised as children! We close the year having completed a cycle of learning, focused on both academic and social-emotional learning, having honored the high expectations that serve as the cornerstone of Meramec being a great place to learn, a great place to teach, and a great place to be! Personally, I consider myself fortunate to have the privilege of serving as the principal of such a wonderful, child-centered school for six years, making today's 5th Grade Promotion bittersweet, having had the chance to follow a class through their entire elementary experience! Prior to closing out our final days for this year, out teachers and staff are actively engaged in preparing end-of-the-year report cards, to be mailed out next week.
