The Mayan were truly significant in what they did. They built their own buildings by hand. Mayans invented their own calendars and number system. They figured a way to trade also. The most remarkable thing the Mayans did were invent their number system. They are the ones who invented the number 0. The thing we are not used to now is that, the number system they invented was based after the number 20. The Mayan didn't have machines and the tools we have now to build buildings.
