Though Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was written longer than a decade ago, the themes and ideas from her novel are strongly relevant to our society today. We read about a scientist, Victor Frankenstein who has a strong ambition for fame and success in his interest of the principle of life. He builds a creation produced out of bits and pieces of corpse. His final result was “the monster” which read about later in the novel. However, his dream and vision is not quite how he pictured. Though he achieved his goal of creating an inanimate body, he was not satisfied due to the fact of the “the monster’s” unpleasant and nasty appearance.
