Making Better Grades

All college students have struggled with the decision of how to make a better grade. Most do not know that they have to better their strategies and practice study skills until they find the one that works for them. Having techniques such as time management, being able to understand the material, being organized, and staying motivated are all key factors in how to make a better grade in college classes and on assignments. Time management is the biggest struggle for most college students. Managing time between classes, schoolwork and homework, extra-curricular activities, and a social life is a difficult task that requires planning and no procrastination. Students need to make sure that they keep a planner, and organize all the specific due dates for each assignment. If the student is constantly losing their work and making excuses for late assignments, they are definitely not going to be successful in making the grades that they want. If a student wants good grades then they need to keep a planner with all of the due dates and important dates so that they do not have to worry about late assignments. They also need to make sure that they have a folder or binder to keep all their assignments in one location. If their assignments are scattered around and stuck in between the pages of a textbook then they will forget about them or not remember where they put them. Students need to keep all of their notes organized and kept together lesson by lesson so that when the test arrives they have all the notes to prepare them; if they lose a page then they could miss a specific point that they needed to know for the exam. If they keep all of their assignments and notes in one location for each class, then they should be able to make a good grade in the
