Everyone can play soccer, but it takes almost an artist to be a soccer player Soccer is the most beautiful game in the world, and it can make you feel a variety of emotions in one game. One of the most outstanding soccer players in the history of football is Lionel Messi he is an artist on the field with the ball with unending source of surprises and is an inspiration for everyone. Lionel Messi was born in Santa Fe Province in Argentina on June 24, 1987. At the age of five, he initially started playing football for Granola, a club coached by his father. That moment was a speechless moment for all FC Barcelona fans and Messi supporters. I was at my friends house in Brooklyn, NY, where we watched the Copa Del Rey semi-finals between FC Barcelona and Getafe on April 18th, 2007. A Barcelona midfielder, Xavi, passed the ball to Lionel Messi at the right wing of the field and Messi did not hesitate, it’s where it all changed for him. He received the ball and with his left foot and his natural and unbelievable skills; he ran with extremely close ball control and managed to pass the first defender with amazing speed that left all fans shocked. He managed to pass the second and third defender and as well passed the goalkeeper as he the goalkeeper came rushing out of the goal to tackle Messi, but, of course, failed to do so. After merely humiliating the defenders and the goalkeeper, then history was made, Messi scored the perfect goal that was identical to Maradona’s goal in 1986. The goal left everyone with emotional that couldn’t be described other than joy, happiness and tears to all real Barcelona fans.
