America the Country of the people, the land of the free where everyone is entitled rights and responsibilities that are vital in order to preserve their nations democratic government. The freedom to pursue life, liberty, and happiness, Respect the rights, beliefs, and opinions of others, and also the freedom to express oneself. Those are just to name a few. Each of these has an importance in their government in order to maintain a vigorous nation.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, which among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” — (The United States Declaration of Independence) To begin with, in order to pursue Life a person must have rights to the basic essentials such as food, water, and shelter to survive. If one must depend on outside sources in order to afford food, water and shelter which are necessities to survive they are then being denied the basic right to Life which then leads to death. “Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” (brainy quotes. Thomas Jefferson). If the people look around they can see that their right to liberty is not being honored in this society. Instead, they are often playing within the limits of the law rather than the limits of all persons’ rights. This is a way of tyranny, not liberty. Then there is the right to pursue happiness. All people have a right to the pursuit of the state of being happy. ...

... and regular election. Without this right political parties cannot campaign properly which can lead to unfair completion during elections. So to insure democracy for all, freedom of expression is important when trying to preserve a democratic society.
Throughout the history of the United States, This country has welcomed people from all over the world. The contributions of foreigners has helped shape and define the country we know today. In order for America to remain a free and prosperous nation they must make sure that their rights and responsibilities are to be exercised and respected. The right to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. To respect the rights, beliefs, as well as opinions of others. Also the freedom to express oneself. Though all are important these are just a few that they should be aware of in order to help preserve their democratic government.
