Life Check Reflection

After finishing the life check lab, I realized that there were a lot of factors that I needed to change in order to become a healthier and happier person. One in particular is my sedentary lifestyle because that plays a key role in changing my lifestyle. Although I do not always eat the healthiest, my eating habits have gotten better in the last year and it’s been an ongoing battle to completely change it. Whereas my diet has been an ongoing improvement, I have not been taking time or the effort to exercise. I find it hard to set aside time in my schedule to work out and improve myself.

The main reason why I have been having such a hard time in completely changing my bad habits is because of time. Between school and work I have found it immensely difficult to find time to cook or go to the gym. Every now and then I am able too but it’s not consistent enough to make any real impact on my daily life. I also find that I do not have enough motivation to even attempt to work out or cook. After school or work I’m usually too tired or busy to even think about doing anything else but sleep. After seeing “where you are now” on my life check, I see why it’s necessary to improve my health. …show more content…

I believe by following these selections I can become a healthier person and reduce my risks for any diseases that people that continue down this road would develop. I have always wanted to be a more active person and lose and keep off the weight that I had gained over the years. I believe this will be the best guide line in learning how to take better control on living a better and longer life. Though I know it will be difficult especially with my schedule, I know that I will have to have a backup
