Dr Martin Luther King jr wrote the two famous works “ I Have a Dream” and “Letter from Birmingham Jail”, each had a different audience. Both works utilized techniques of pathos in “ I Have a Dream” and logos in “ Letter from Birmingham Jail”. The purpose of these works was to spread awareness of the racial discrimination problems in the south. Most of his audience was black and I’d imagine there were some whites. In the work “ I Have a Dream”, Dr Martin Luther King Jr expressed his views on racial discrimination and segregation. His audience was very big, there was at least 100,000 people that attended his speech.
