Should the legal driving limit age be up to 18? The legal driving limit should not be raised to 18 because it is just as safe for teenagers to drive as it is for 40-60 year olds to drive. The legal driving limit should still stay the same, there are around 5,000 teen deaths a year due to a car accident. If the drivers were to wait until they were 18 they would have to rely on their parents. Most of the driver get their licence when they are a sophomore in high school.
