The focus of this part of essay is on leadership style and its detailed characteristics. Leadership style is defined as the behavior of leaders focusing on what leaders do and how they act. Human basic beliefs and assumptions about their natural working habits define our leadership style. In life, the leader may be chosen by the organization, the entrepreneur or a group of people believing in his leadership. It is determined by: innate qualities, situation (peace - war), nature of the task and characteristics of the group (the nature of the group, positions in the group).
There are many different leadership styles that can be exhibited by leaders in the political, business or other field. According to XX century research about leadership styles, conducted by psychologists Lewin, Lippitt and White, we distinguish 3 of them: authoritarian, democratic and laissez-faire. Psychologists conducted a study whose purpose was to determine which style has the maximum impact on the efficiency of work, the level of job satisfaction and intercompany relationships. As for efficiency, autocratically led group achieved the best results in terms of the amount of work, but the quality was higher in groups led democratically. The autocratic style, there were signs of growing aggression, which sometimes were directed against the weakest or new members of the group (the scapegoat syndrome). On the other hand the groups targeted liberally often occurred to the spontaneous emergence of informal leaders who was starting with the autocratic leadership management style. Lewin, Lippitt and White claimed that the leader adopting the specific procedure of approach is able to produce a specific group climate and leadership style.

About the leadership decided cohesion, flexibility and the ability to build adequate contact with subordinates, as a result of which we will be able to manage them effectively. Employees want to follow the leader, paying attention to his comments because then they are motivated to work more efficiently and effectively. However it should be remembered that whether the manager is considered to be a leader depends mainly on his skills, understanding of others and also the specific way of issuing commands. A good leader puts requirements and shows a consequence in pursuing the objective. Moreover he must show his human nature when he is gentle and cheerful to people form the group. Good leader must be able to listen and understand them, showing that their opinion is just as important as other issues in the company.
