Grit is using Passion, Inspiration, and perseverance to overcome failure to succeed. Martin Luther King JR. was born in Atlanta, Georgia on the 15th of January in 1929. In the US, Martin King had a seismic impact on race relations beginning in the mid-1950’s. King was a civil rights activist as well as a Baptist minister. Martin Luther King JR used inspiration, passion, and perseverance to achieve his goal of changing society so that people would see blacks and whites as equal.
