KEDGWICK – Maurice Wellington, 13, has been reported missing from his home in the town Kedgwick for the past 48 hours. There are four suspects in this investigation, all of which are residents of Kedgwick. Maurice was last seen with another boy at Highland Park, however both of their whereabouts are unknown. Maurice had not been home since 9AM on Tuesday when the police received a phone call from Maurice’s parents at 12AM, Wednesday morning. Maurice was last seen wearing a red hoodie and dark pants. He is around 5 feet 4 inches tall with cropped blonde hair, a round face, and brown eyes. When the townspeople were informed of the diagnosis, they reacted negatively and ostracized the family. There have been two other reports of crime against the Wellingtons recently. Roughly 3 months ago, their vehicle tires were mysteriously slashed, and on February 13th, their tool shed was burnt to the ground. The crimes of arson and destruction of personal property is still being investigated by authorities. John MacDonald, Charles Debussy, Henry Rideau and Mark Poisson are the four suspects in custody for abduction and first-degree murder of Maurice and the unknown little boy. “We have reason to suspect that these men are connected to the abduction of Maurice Wellington, and the hate crimes against the Wellingtons.” said Investigator Mark Saunders. The four men work as farmers and their children were once good friends with Maurice, until the news of his illness spread. “We thought he [Maurice] would get our kids sick too.
