“When I Have Fears” is a very uneasy poem, in the form that the poet struggles with fear of time. He fears he will not have enough time here on Earth to fulfill what he wants. Poet John Keats is filled with anxiety about the concept of not only time, but how long he has until his time runs out. Everybody has fears, but for some they may be more profound than others.
