JJ Watt is a star NFL player. He is a defensive end for the Houston Texans. JJ has his own foundation to help middle school aged kids understand the game more and become more involved with other kids and activities. He is from Waukesha Wisconsin and also stars in a couple movies. This athlete and well rounded guy is someone that many kids look up to. JJ Watt is an influential advocate and role model through his actions including his role as a pro football player, creating his own non-profit foundation and by supporting other organizations. JJ Watt is a role model because many kids and young athletes look up to him and want to be just like him. There is many kids in this world that dream of one day becoming an NFL player. There dream is to grow up and become something spectacular just like JJ. It is called The JJ Watt Foundation. He started the foundation so that he could helps schools with after school activities. He goes around and donates money to school to help pay for equipment, uniforms and helps get the program up and going. He has donated money to the Pulaski Middle School and we got new jerseys for volleyball the sport i was in. I also know that the fall soccer kids got new uniforms too. The jerseys were very nice and high quality products. “Our mission is to provide after-school opportunities for middle-school aged children in the community to become involved in athletics, so that they may learn the character traits of accountability, teamwork, leadership, work ethic, and perseverance, while in a safe and supervised environment with their peers.”(Watt) This quote explains how the foundation works amd also shows that giving back is key and will eventually get you somewhere in
