Teenagers and Drinking Nowadays, the practice of alcohol without permission in teenager is increasing especially among the age of 18-21 years old. Allowing teenagers drink when they are eighteen years old instead of twenty- one is the issue that was considered by the parents, adult, and the government. Most of them are worried that not letting teens drink may lead to the worse situations such as using drugs and other dopes. Some others said that letting teens drinking will reduce the amount of illegal drinking. For example, in my neighborhood, the young people often gather a crowd together to talk and drink when they have a free time or celebrating when they have a good news. Drugs is the essential problem that we have to concern about because the amount of teenagers under 21 abusing drugs higher than alcohol. Moreover, drug is the one of dope that if someone use them for a long time, it will keep in their body and effect to their health especially in their brain. They make human in the state of uncontrollable, and become an addiction. Furthermore, it will lead to violence, social evils that affect to people around them. If we compare drugs with drinking alcohol, we will see drinking alcohol is better even though both are not good for heath. Therefore, drinking alcohol just make people feel relax and excited in the specific time around 3-4 hours. Alcohol can affect for a liver when people use in a long time seem like 3-4 years. In the other sides, drugs can affect people immediately after they use it that lead to nerve, hallucination, and amnesia. For example, my friends hang out with their friend in the club and she used a pill of drug. After she use it, she felt dizzy, can’t control herself when she heard the music. Then she felt hot and got high fever. Consequently, drug make her can’t control her activities.
