Feeling isolated is one of the most depressing and gut wrenching feelings to have. This feeling is not a feeling that people strive to have. Isolation is caused by many different things and can all be devastating to an individual who is isolated. In the play “Antigone”, Antigone is made isolated because of her beliefs, which is not right. She has been isolated by her sister and the rest of the kingdom for a decision based on her beliefs, this causes a tragic ending to the play resulting in multiple deaths.

Later in the play, Antigone is sorrowful for her actions and the consequences yet she is not regretful for her crime. She says her crime is just, yet she does regret being forced to commit it.
