In the short story “the most dangerous game”, Rainsford was justified in killing General Zaroff. A man call Rainsford got in a wreck and ended up in a island, where he met General Zaroff and found out that he hunts people for fun. Zaroff wanted Rainsford to be his hunting partner. Rainsford disagreed with his idea so, Zaroff decided to make Rainsford his challenge and made a bet that if Rainsford wins he gets to gets to get out of the island. Rainsford ended up killing him and won. The use of reasonable force to protect oneself or members of the family from bodily harm from the attack of an aggressor, if defender has reason to believe He/She/is/are in danger.
