A balanced diet is necessary for being healthy and which means you must eat the right ratio of the three main macronutrients which are fat, protein, and carbohydrates. If too much of one macronutrient is eaten , there will be a possibility of health problems. An example would be high fat consumption, leading to an increased risk of heart disease or obesity. It can be difficult choosing the right foods mainly because of processed foods. If you don't read the nutrition labels, you might be making a mistake. An estimate by just looking at a food and how much fat it contains is not a smart choice. Usually, fats in food are hidden which are called invisible fats.

It is actually possible to figure out how much invisible fats are in your food by separating the fats from the food using a solvent extraction method. Based on the results, people might want to think twice about what they plan to eat.
