Dear Alex, Congratulations on your recent engagement. This is a wonderful time in life to celebrate love and new beginnings. I know I’m divorced and you’re probably thinking I don’t have the room to talk right now about advice on a successful relationship, but, just hear me out on this because failure is a massive part of being successful, that’s where are the lessons are learned. So, take what I say with a grain of salt as I can assure you I am the perfect fit for this due to my studies in my Interpersonal Communications course.
Communication is very important no matter what relationship you are in, it is key, especially marriage. Marriage is certainly built on energy and wisdom and effective communication. Let your engagement be a learning process and prepare you for this life long journey ahead. First and foremost, it is very important to understand the basic principles and misconceptions that take place in communication. Marriage is a dedicated relationship that will require lots of communication. The both of you need to analyze the way you communicate with others and make notes of the good and bad.
