Nowadays, we hear a lot about drugs and the different kinds there are. We also hear how some people say that it is fine to take some drugs, but the reality is that most of them do not know the real effects the drug can have on a person. The problem is that people are each day becoming more addictive to drugs without knowing how harmful it is for them and their bodies, how it can have a great affect in their brains damaging themselves. It is important that people are aware all of the effects drug can have and that there are solutions for it. This is the purpose of this essay, to talk about a drug and its effect and explain how science is being applied to solve the problems. Scientists have discovered all of the various effects that inhalants have by research and they have also found the solution for the harm it does.
Inhalants are chemical vapors or products that people inhale with the purpose of getting high, commonly used any home and workplace. These inhalants are so commonly used in our daily lives, that even a small children could have experiences inhaling if he had ever smelled a smelly marker, a spray… So they are drugs that could be unconsciously inhale or without the purpose of getting high, some are; paints, glues, gasoline and cleaning fluids. Inhalants are classified in different categories, which at the same time each inhalant have different effects.

The physical and neurological effects from the use and abuse of stimulants, sedatives, hallucinogens, organic solvents, and athletic performance enhancing drugs will be discussed in order to better comprehend why certain individuals expose themselves to such dangerous materials with seemingly no regard to the permanent consequences associated with such actions.
