“Since 2013, there have been over 200 school shootings in America — an average of nearly one a week.” To be exact there has been 242 mass shootings with who knows how many dead. The columbine high school shooting April 20,1999, 17 year old Dylan Klebold, and 18 year old Eric Harris killed 12 students and 1 teacher. Both ended up killing themselves at 12:08pm with shot wounds in the head. 23 were wounded 13 killed and shooters committed suicide all in one day.December 14 Adam Lanza, 20 year old killed his mother Nancy Lanza. That went to sandy elementary. 20 students 6 through the age of 7 was killed plus 6 adults than shooter kills himself that's a total of 27 dead. No teachers were armed during these shootings so many died who shouldn't have died. …show more content…

A taser, pepper spray, or gun something to keep around to save or even just to hold off the unwanted guest till the cops arrive to the scene. Even if it was a bat it would work. There are too many deaths happening because of school shootings it's ridiculously stupid. If only all schools were regulated to have a way to protect the kids and teacher in each classroom we would not have to worry about any of this nonsense going on in the world. Every teacher should be trained in armes in case of a emergens like shooting and should also be trained in some of the medical field to help with bad injuries. Teacher while going through school should be trained in how to use a gun use, taser handling, and maybe even some fighting hand to hand combat. For the safety of the lives in the school teachers should be trained for important situations. Every if situations sounds stupid and may not even happen. It would be good for the teachers to know so the school is always
